Project Administrator – The Netherlands

Project Administrator position available for large Super Yacht project in The Netherlands from October. This role provides general secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Project Manager and team. Previous experience as Project Secretary or Project Administrator on a large multidiscipline capital engineering project required along with fluent English with Dutch an advantage. Organised, self-starter and capable of working alone in a high pressure environment. Good interpersonal skills an comfortable working in a multi-disciplined, multi-national team. Yacht Administrator – Fort Lauderdale Office

A qualified Yacht Administrator will demonstrate significant experience and knowledge of the yachting industry. This position involves assisting our fleet of yachts with Yacht Administration, including Safety and Technical Support, Crew Management, Shore Support and maintaining database of yacht certificates. A Yacht Administrator is the point of contact for all vessel operations and is responsible for regular reporting to the owner. This position requires an understanding of client requirements and often requires patience and the ability to work in high stress situations.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain ships documents, keep certificates and records on file and up-to-date, upload and download accounts, photos, forms and certificates.
• Coordinate all captain and crew employment procedures; assist with crew selection verify documents, coordinate employment contracts, insurance and travel logistics.
• Coordinate with Yacht Accountant to monitor monthly budgets and communicate/anticipate overages, purchasing and spending thresholds, VAT, invoices and payments, client funds and funds requests.
• Assure good flow of communication between yacht and other departments including Accounting, Technical, Compliance and Charter.
• Assist with technical support, ISM meetings, internal audits, SSP reviews and manuals
• Coordinate insurance, vendor service contracts.
• Provide shore support and assistance to yacht as needed; problem solving and decision making with an awareness of possible consequences.
• Monitoring yacht information and incorporating into monthly, seasonal and annual reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:
• 2+ years industry specific experience required. Experience in a similar role would be ideal or relevant sea –going experience in a senior position.
• Practical knowledge of yacht operational standards and procedures; familiarity with ISM and ISPS implementation a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal required to liaise confidently and professionally with colleagues, clients, captains and crew.
• Familiarity with financial statements and reporting.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Above average IT skills required, MS Office Suite & Outlook.
• English is the base language, French and other languages a plus.

This is a full time, permanent position at an intermediate level with shore-based salary appropriate to qualifications and experience. It includes administrative, office/desk intensive work with occasional local travel required. Basic office and organization skills imperative. Excellent writing skills a must. Technical Yacht Engineering experience not necessary. Must be legal to work in the U.S.

Procurement Officer – Isle of Man Office

Experienced procurement officer, ideally with a shipping or yachting procurement background.  This new role involves the procurement of equipment and other supplies as specified by project managers, yacht crews, aviation and other operational teams.  Requires good contract negotiation skills, knowledge of logistics and the ability to develop strong relationships.  Experience of developing purchasing systems and procedures would be an advantage.

Technical Manager – Antibes Office

Technical Manager opportunity available in our Antibes office for an immediate start. This role requires significant experience and knowledge of Engineering systems, Safety and Maintenance management practices on board a fleet of Superyachts. Minimum of 3 year’s experience as shore side Superintendent or similar technical yacht management role. This role requires Master Mariner or Chief Engineer Unlimited with shore based management experience in a similar role.
